After a surge in interest, we’re not accepting any more members or new visitors for the 2021/22 season. We do have new No Strings Badminton sessions that starts in March 2022, if you’re looking for low-cost, fun and social play with no commitment.
If you’ve played badminton before and are looking to develop your game, get additional play, or are interested in competing in matches we’d love to hear from you. Just contact us beforehand and we’ll give you all the information you need.
To play at our club night you should be familiar with the rules of badminton, can score a game, and be able to competently serve and play shots in a rally. If you’re brand new to the sport a No Strings session will be more suitable, helping you to learn the basics and transition through to club level. You can find your local No Strings sessions on the Badminton England website.
Below are some of the different scenarios for new members and visitors.
- Looking for a club to join (not a member anywhere else)
- A member of another club but looking for additional play
- Visiting the local area and wanting to drop in for a single session

We’re not currently accepting any new visitors to our club night as sessions have become very busy due to the size of our membership.
If you’re not a member of another Badminton England affiliated club, you can visit us 6 times before must join. This is determined by the insurance provided as part of our Badminton England club affiliation.
If you are a member of a Badminton England affiliated club and they have paid your Badminton England membership (and you can provide proof of this) you can visit as many times as you like.
Visitor fees for 2021/22 are £6 (full) or £4 (concession – 65+, full-time student, unemployed) per session.
